Brazil Brazil

Over the next few days, I’ll be talking about several buffet-based restaurants around the Metro. I love eating at buffets for obvious reasons, hehehe. Anyway, let’s start off with Brazil Brazil, a restaurant that specializes in serving a variety of barbecue dishes. If you’re a carnivore like me, you’ll probably love it here. The serving system here is also very unique. All tables have Yoyos that have a green and red side. If you put it green side facing up, that signals the waiters to bring you skewers of various dishes and you decide if you want cuts or not. If you put in on the red side, that means “STOP OMG IM FULL ABOUT TO EXPLODE THANK YOU”.

Complete review of the Brazil Brazil dining experience after the jump!

Before I talk about the food, let me talk about the set-up they have here a bit more. They have this giant BBQ Grill at the front where you see various meats, seafoods, and fruits being cooked. Each time they see a table has a green yoyo, they pick up one skewer and they start making the rounds. You have the option of declining or asking for more cuts once the waiter arrives at your table.

Other than the BBQ, they also have a central buffet area at the middle. It focuses more on dessert, appetizers, and either rice or pasta. They have really good salad and soup here so you might want to try it out when you get the chance.

Na-puwing ako while getting Pork Belly

Okay, they have soooooooooooo many meat skewers that I find it impossible to talk about each one. I’ll just stick to the ones that really stuck to my memory. The first dish that they served as Pork Belly. Man, the oil was just dripping everywhere since it was fresh from the grill. The meat looked so juicy that it was almost impossible to resist, haha! Their Pork Belly here tastes great especially if you take it with the various sauces that are available in your table. By the way, make sure you tell them to cut you lean portions and not too much on the fatty side.

Brazil Brazil Tenderloin Cuts

Make sure you don’t leave Brazil Brazil without tasting their Tenderloin cuts. This is literally the quality of steaks that you order at class A restaurants. I usually ask for extra servings each time the waiter swings by the table with this offering. I love the cuts (prime quality) and they cook it just right.

Brazil Brazil Schublig

Another staple favorite of mine is their Schublig. They have two variations, one with cheese and a normal version. I prefer the one without cheese since the cheese pretty much overwhelms the taste of the meat making it a normal cheesedog that you can get from Jollibee. This one goes really well with ketchup, rice, and a cool glass of Coke Zero. :)

SUMMARY

Rating Card
1 – Waste of money
2 – Satisfactory – just okay. Nothing special
3 – Wow, something to remember.
4 – OMGWTFBBQ I WANT MOREZZ PLZZ

FOOD QUALITY: 4
DISH PRICES VS QUALITY: 3
CUSTOMER SERVICE: 4
RESTAURANT CLEANLINESS: 3
RESTAURANT OVER-ALL RATING: 3.5

My only problem here at Brazil Brazil is really the price. It’s more expensive compared to Saisaki’s buffet which includes the dishes from Dad’s. I love the food, concept, and the customers service is also superb. I just find the price tag a bit too steep for the dining experience. Maybe if they price this at around P500-P550, they’ll have a bigger customer base which will increase over-all sales.

Anyway, this place is good for family celebrations and special occasions. Why? Because you get to eat for free! Your dad or grandparents should pick up the bill since it’s a family gathering, hahaha!

Hi Wauks! Great review! Just a question.. you wrote “Price Range (per dish): P620+” Uhm Is Brazil brazil ala carte type? or there’s an option for buffet? Is there a price per skewer?

Hi Reinwald! Sorry if I wasn’t clear. It’s P620+ for the entire buffet. I don’t think they have ala carte.
