Crystal Beach, Zambales

I went with Mich and her old high school friends when they decided to go to Crystal Beach, Zambales last weekend. The drive was around 4 hours long but it wasn’t much of a hassle for me because I decided to get my old driver to bring us there (hahaha go katamaran!). We left Sunday morning and we arrived there around lunch time. First, let me say that they rates of the place is very reasonable. The dormitory type place that we got can hold up to 10 people and it only costs P3,000 per day. There’s one air con room that has two big beds and a balcony with two other beds and a hammock.

More stories about the place and what we ate after the break!

WHERE IS OUR FOOD!!?!?!??!
Okay, I love the place and all but they seriously have to get that restaurant of theirs fixed. We ordered a bunch of inihaw and fish. I was expecting to wait around 20-30 minutes but OMGWTFBBQ it took more than an hour before they could serve our food. Note that we were the ONLY customers there so there was no line. Maybe that’s the reason why we were the only ones eating there… hahaha. Anyway, if you’re going to Crystal Beach, bring your own food. Don’t even think of eating at the restaurant coz it really SUCKS. Oh, their sinigang na baboy has pork chop for meat.

Surfing Paradise
A lot of my surfer friends always tell me that they go to Zambales when they do their thing. Now I know why. The waves here are really big. I saw a couple and their kid knocked off their feet when a wave smashed into them while they were taking pictures.

RAWRRRRR! WHERE’S MY FOOD!!?!?!?
Come dinner time, we had no choice again but to eat at the same place. OMG, they took even longer than lunch to serve our food this time. I almost went ballistic with my wolverine mode. Lol. Seriously, if you guys are going here, forget the restaurant. Bring food. Please. Save yourself the hassle.

Well, other than the food, the place is really nice. The price is reasonable, the aircon is actually cool, and the beach is superb. :)

damn i miss that place, although that’s where my friends’ sarong went missing…

we didn’t really have much problem with the food when we went there before for our org’s teambuilding, maybe it’s because everything was pre-ordered? xD

Did they say why it took them long?

My friend owns this place, haha. I like the food there, and the service too. I wonder what went wrong when you guys were there. Super sarap tapsilog nila, and usually we order 7am, and then go surfing, eat breakfast after an hour or so. Pag dinner naman mabilis din naman dati, samahan lang ng konting kwentuhan and jokes, di mo mamamalayan nanjan na yung food. haha!

    I love crystal beach!!!
