Last week I received an e-mail from Gigi asking if I wanted to review her Custaroons. She was kind enough to even deliver the products straight to my office in Makati during our lunch break. I briefly chatted with her and she’s a very pleasant lady, and I can tell that she’s very serious about her business. Anyway, she gave me a box of Custaroons and Chocolate Poppers. I took both boxes up, chilled it a bit, and ate it together with the Marketing Department of Level Up. Heaven on earth people.

According to the official Custaroons website, the product is describe as “a deliciously unique combination of smooth and creamy flan topped with a chewy, buttery crust.” It’s like a combination of Macaroons and Leche Flan - which kinda makes it rise above your normal desserts and snacks. Everyone in the office who ate it loved the Custaroons - well except for one officemate who was allergic to butter, hahaha. People were already asking me where I got it or how they can order. I think there were 12 Custaroons in the box, all of which disappeared in less than 10 minutes.

Next up we have the Chocolate Poppers. They are like mini-custaroons coated with chocolate powder. Basically you shake the box so that the powder mixes well with the poppers then you open and eat it. I only ate 1 piece because I’m trying to slow down on chocolates but man I loved every second chewing it, hehehe. Parang MnM - melts in your mouth not in your hand. Gave the rest away to my office mates.

Just a fair warning though, I’m pretty sure this packs a lot of sugar so to those who are bordering of being diabetic, don’t eat too much of this.
