I’m currently writing two reviews for posting this weekend. Like what I said in my earlier post, one will be about a Spanish restaurant in Promenade Greenhills. They serve really good Paella there and the customer service is just fantastic. Another restaurant review I’m working on is another Japanese Restaurant I found along Tomas Morato. They actually have several branches spread across the Metro already. They have really good Sukiyaki and special custom sushi dishes. For this post though, I’d like to introduce to you guys the people I’m usually with when I go on food trips. Eating is a social activity, and eating alone in a restaurant is kinda sad.

My two angels, Mich and Faith!
Meet them all after the jump!
Mich is my girlfriend of almost 8 years. We met in college in the Ateneo and we’ve been together eversince. She’s almost always there when I have food trips. If she’s not there and I post something here, I immediately get a call from her asking me who I was with if I didn’t make “paalam”, hehehe. She’s currently a reporter for ABS-CBN. You can watch her stories mostly on TV Patrol and Business Nightly (ANC).
Faith, is my almost-18 bunso sister. She graduates this March from Reedly International School. We usually bring her along when we find out she’s doing nothing at home and we have extra cash to spend to treat her out. She’s celebrating her 18th birthday a few days from now – March 23, 2009! If you’re reading this, advanced happy birthday Faith!

My cousin Estelle and auntie Toots
Here we have a mother-and-daughter combination. Tita Toots is my auntie and we used to work together when I was doing New Media consulting for Senator Mar Roxas. She now heads the Blas F. Ople Policy Center together with Estelle. Tita Toots was the one who treated me to a scrumptious lunch at Elbert’s Cheesesteak.
That’s it for now. I’ll write more about the other people I have lunch/dinner with when I find time. Check back Saturday evening for new reviews! I hope all of you have a great and relaxing weekend ahead. Cheers!

Yey! Food trip!
