Okay, this is a much needed updated on my previous review of Sizzling Pepper Steak. Apparently, Pepper Lunch, who has branches in Shangrila and Power Plant, is totally different from Sizzling Pepper Steak. I really have no clue on who came on first but I like both places. I would have to give an edge to Pepper Lunch though since they serve a mean Salmon steak. I compiled a few blog posts about this controversial issue for everyone’s reading pleasure.

I’ll be going to Pepper Lunch this weekend or maybe sometime next week so I can do a review of it and really compare it against Sizzling Pepper Steak.
By the way, I’m working on my review of Contis. It’s a really fantastic restaurant along San Juan that you guys have to try. Here’s a picture of one of their dishes:

Hopefully review should be up by Saturday evening. Cheers!

Pepper Lunch is the original sizzling concept from Japan, using a patented electromagnetic iron plate to keep the food warm for 20 minutes at 80 degrees C.
Our sauces, dressings, spices, rice and butter are imported from Japan and our meats, chicken & burger from US and Australia. The salmon you tried is from Norway. Pepper Lunch is proud of only serving the best products available.
Give us a try and see how you like our food!
You must try our Molten a la Mode dessert, that is nice chocolate lava cake to finish a great meal!

@Jeoren: I was thinking of going there today for dinner but Mich and I already made plans to go to Little Tokyo in Makati.
I’ll swing by maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. Will definitely try the Molten a la Mode. Thanks for the comment!
